Despite all the economy slump stuff. I want it bad. I would like a little one-bed flat in North or East London, not too far out, in anything but a high rise block. A little one bed flat that I can make nice, and maybe get a cat. A man can dream can't he? A modest sounding dream that makes bank managers weep and laugh openly.

Do you lot think like this? Or do most not care very much? I'm curious. Are you circumstances worse or better than mine? I'm 26 (I think), no partner, I'M A STUDENT (albeit one that might hopefully produce an okay salary by next year) and I've somehow got a bit of deposit squirreled away. I have no idea about potential parental support or shared ownership schemes, nowt like that. I don't complain about the market (much) because I've made choices (not all of them good) to get here, and I have to live with it and shiz.
