Basically I bought something on the internet and then I got a page saying I could have a £10 voucher if I clicked there or something like that. Anyway, I stupidly said yes to that.

Apparently when I signed their terms and conditions I okayed the online shop to send Shopper Discounts my card details so Shop Disc could then debit me £8 a month for what is probably some really really useful discount service if you only buy from their partners and...well actually it's probably rubbish.

The upshot is that I only just noticed this debit the other day and rang them to rip them a new arsehole. Clearly they actually know what they do is horribly immoral because as soon as I said I'd just complain to Barclays, who would then take back all the money, they agreed to pay me back.

Anyhoo, I thought I'd tell you to make sure you've not got anything on your statements for 'ShopDisc UK' or similar to the tune of £8 a month, so you can ring and moan at them.
