Obviously the Mayor won't actually have as much power as they probably should, which may be a blessing in disguise if Boris Johnson DID get in. But even the mere thought that he might is actually making me think about moving out of London. If this is the conscience of the city, that some moron who, even if I was a massive Tory I probably wouldn't vote for, could get in because he's been on Have I Got News For You a few times, has funny hair and the fucking Evening Standard has a monopoly on the papers and has run a ridiculous anti Ken Livingstone campaign, could actually be elected Mayor of London, then Im not sure I wanna stick around to see what happens...
