I recently decided I should be tidier. It's been working out great on one level. I am indeed tidy now and staying so. But I find it a strain otherwise: not walking over integrals I was struggling with four years ago, the joy of finding an old mix tape you thought forever lost, the way I'd fall over something and it would remind me of someone. Mess is comforting. So who wants to come over and wreck my room?
