So, I was chatting to this Hungarian guy called Lazlo at the weekend.

He was a nice enough guy, broken English, looked a little like Kurt Cobain, pre-suicide though, obvs.

Anyway, this guy was complaining that English girls weren't giving him any game, those weren't his words, but I saw him very much as the Rivers Cuomo type.

His tactic appeared to be standard practice in his native Hungary, I shall outline it thus:

1) Ask a girl out
2) If she refuses ask her out again
3) See 2)
4) See 2) and 3)
5) See 2), 3) and 4)
6) Repeat ad infinitum

Now, my friend (an actual real life English girl) and I were trying to explain to him that this was probably a little scary and possibly borderline illegal, but he was having none of it.

In Hungary dating is war, a bitter, bloody WAR OF ATTRITION where no quarter is given and you never back down, even in the face of utter disinterest.

So, women of DiS, does any of this tally with your experience of foreign men? Were they relentless, did they not take no for an answer or.......

Were they sweet, lovely and basically > British types?
