My poor little sister is crying her heart out and I just put my muic louder to drown it out. Does this make me the spawn of the devil?

She has this weird hard lump about the size of a ten pence piece under the skin on her face.
Being a rather vain thirteen year old, she thinks this makes her look like a freak, despite it being barely visably noticable (although obvious to feel it).
Also, she has a bit of sleep or gunk or something inside her eye, which is irritating and as a result she keeps trying to poke it out and her eye is now horrifcally bloodshot.

She went to the pharmacy and they told her they had no idea what it was and whether the two were related, but that it probably wasn't related.

Still, it's a bit odd and worrying, so I've told her to book an appointment with the doctor. This probably won't be for some time though..

Does anyone have any idea what it could be? I'm guessing that it's an infection or some kind of cyst, but really I have no clue.
