I love this stuff but on Saturday night at the Old Blue Last I was sad.

First I was sad because just as the one barman poured the fifth of my five shots, the second barman clumsily flung one of them all over me and my wallet. He then proceeded to serve someone else before ungraciously pouring me a new one.

I guess so far, so Old Blue Last.

But what really saddened me was the knowledge that if it ain't Luxardo it just ain't good enough. I've rarely seen this brand in pubs and don't know what it was but it's not good enough. :'(

Still: Sambuca for the win, eh?
