help/advice needed please re: virgin train travel

michael_w [Edit] [Delete] 13:32, 28 May '08

ok so...

im at uni in stoke and live in essex

i got an open return from stoke to essex

getting to essex i then got a lift back to stoke

now needing to get home from the summer, i need to buy a ticket back to essex

BUT

i still have the ticket i should have used to get back to stoke

is there any way virgin will be nice and let me swap this return ticket for another out (if that makes sense) and save me 40 quid.

or

if they are bastards and wont let me, can i just blag my way home on the ticket.

i could get past the inspectors but will it make a difference on the tube barriers if the ticket is the wrong way round, and going in the wrong direction (if that makes sense)

all help/advice/schemes/lift offers/money gifts/premium bond vouchers

much appreciated
