reason i ask is that i'm doing a little research for a short story and had in mind a guy who kind of leaves lonely hearts type 'call me' messages in the books of his fave authors in book shops/libraries.
so what books/authors would you leave them in and why? and what sort of person would you expect to respond to them?
e.g. if you left it in a bukowski book would you expect to get a call from a big fat drunk who's up for some nasty one-time sex.
