I found this quite interesting although I accept it's plausible no-one else will.

My instinct is to say he's probably right and there's only so long for which you can blame the past for what happens in the present. I mean obviously Apartheid and its fall out has caused a lot of the country's social and political problems but I doubt it is the main cause of what's happening now 15 years later.
