Okay, so although I don't have a ticket yet or any money at all, I'm going to this next Saturday (in Glasgow).

The theme is the Olympics. Which is a pretty difficlt one. I was considering going in ancient Greek/Roman costume. Is this a bit naff? I'd have to make my own outfit due to lack of funds, so it would probably consist of a toga made from a sheet and some kind of leafy headress. Will this look silly?

My other option is to disregard the theme (as I'm sure many others will this time) and just dress burlesquey.

Any other ideas?
Any DiSers going? And if so, do you know what you'll be going in?
