Some notes on Galaxy Muffin.

Alex-in-Ciderland [Edit] [Delete] 23:41, 2 June '08

Firstly, it's a great idea, there's literally nothing wrong with it at all.

However, the packaging is not just unnecessarily elaborate, but deceptive too. Designed in such a way as to lull you into the false belief that your muffin will be significantly larger than it actually is.

The icing is pretty great, albeit a little thin, but it cracks in a pleasing way as you bite into it. I also like the little bits of chocolate fondant that are embedded in the muffin itself.

I'll award it 10/10 for concept, but just 5/10 for execution.

Why have cotton when you can have silk?

Well, why have a Galaxy Muffin when you can have an Otis Spunkmeyer*?

*Srsly.
