Interesting sandwich fillings

ma0sm [Edit] [Delete] 14:13, 5 June '08

As I'm trying to save money making sandwiches for myself for lunch every day, I've realised how easy it is to tire of certain filling combinations.

So what are the perfect sandwich fillings that are still gonna be cheaper than buying ready-made lunch every day.

I want precise details here! Right down to whether it's better with more butter / marge or whether some ground pepper would work well on top, what kind of bread it works best with etc.

Also, nothing to eloborate as making sandwiches every day is so boring it hurts

I'll kick things off with one of my few successes.

Avocado, mashed up in a bowl with some mayonaise till it vaguely resembles guacamole, with some plain cooked chicken breast on lightly marged up white bread with a little iceberg lettuce on top and a liberal amount of ground pepper.

Yeah.
