I've done this far too many times during the last few years.

It's ok if you can move straight into your new place right away, just like take your stuff from one place to the other...

But then there are times, like this for me, when you can't move in straight away so you have to find somewhere to leave all your stuff until you can. And then possibly sleep on various sofas/floors while waiting. (Luckily I'm going home to my parents so that won't be a problem for me)
