we're making a video/film at the moment named karaoke and there's a scene that takes place in a clothes shop (probably beyond retro warehouse behind brick lane, but we're not going to ask for permission due to the likelihood of refusal, so it might well go tits up and have to move on, but it'll be somewhere round there), part of which is some girls shopping very enthusiastically, competetively even, for clothes, a bit of pushing and shoving and so on.

the friends we were going to get to do it have either fucked off to brighton or cambridge for the weekend.

i know it's short notice, but we do need to try and get this done tomorrow, so am casting a wide net for anyone (who's a girl and between 18 and 30) to come along and pretend to shop like you're stockpiling for a major disaster.

i'm not sure how the people in the shop will react to this, but meh, what's the worst that can happen? the camera is just your standard home video camera, so hopefully it can be inconspicuous for as long as we need it to be.

would anyone be around or fancy being a minor star for a day? must emphasise that acting ability is not remotely important or any sort of a consideration and you will not be paid a penny (we are poor).

we're a professional bunch alright...
