My god, it's mid-June already.

Did anyone make New Year's resolutions that they've stuck to so far? I don't believe in them personally, but I would say that, because I always break my own promises to myself :)

Mine's been alright. There's been some stressy stuff at work which did my head in for a while, but it's sort of settling, and I've reached the point where I no longer give a damn. I got exempted from the 10% pay cut, which was a massive relief.

In fact, that probably summarises how I feel about most things right now. If stuff happens, it happens, whaaaatever. Feeling happy with that!

Two things I want to do this year, not biggies, 1) get my divorce and 2) have a proper holiday. That does not mean spending seven days with my cleaning-obsessed mother in France. I can stay here and clean obsessively on my own. I may go to Dubai for a week, just because I can, not because I think it's a must-see.
