Am I being over-sensitive?

theguywithnousername [Edit] [Delete] 13:32, 12 June '08

Recently I went to see my Consultant Cardiologist. He asked me how much I drank and I told him honestly (whcih is a bit over the recommended alcohol intake but not massively so). He then said that he'd learned to assume people only admit to half their drinking and took what I meant as double.

He then wrote a letter to my GP which said "the patient admitted to a significant alcohol intake". Is it unreasonable for me to be pissed off about the vagueness of that sentence (and the fact it could imply I wake up and start on the vodka) and want to write a letter to said Cardiolgist pointing out what I actually said?
