a couple of months ago I gave our landlord notice saying we were planing to move out september 14th, I just got an email today saying we are being served notice to move out in august, which I literally can't do as I am finishing my msc around then. They also mentioned they wanted to increase the rent, I said would they have to give 2 months notice, they confirmed they would, we didnt hear anything until today when they said as of the 1st june it will be £300 more, can they do this, where do I stand? thanks
