came up to me at the gang gang dance gig on sunday.

at first i had no idea who he was, but it turned out he was someone who'd left a couple of comments on my last.fm, and who recently friend requested me, and i accepted. he was a friend of a friend of mine too, and seemed alright, though i didn't really have chance to talk to him in any depth. what was weird about him approaching me, other than him recognising me from the internet despite having never met me, was that he knew a hell of a lot about me and my life, like he'd spent quite a while looking around the various profiles and things i have up. after a little while of talking to him in the bar (and i must stress, he seemed reasonable, if the situation was a little odd) i went to meet my friends, and didn't see him for the rest of the night. i'd assumed, having seen that he was friends with my friend, that they knew eachother and it was best not to be rude, cos, y'know, it'd have been a bit twatty to be rude in that sort of situation anyway, strange though it was.

it turns out though, that he doesn't know her in real life, and it's the same deal, just through the internet. my friend was pretty creeped out by him, and understandably so, so she deleted him, and i followed suite.

thing is though, now i feel like a total shit. what if he was just being friendly and didn't quite know where the line was? maybe he just wanted some new friends? am i a total shit?
