How long until knife crime isn't worthy of front page news? You think we're (as a society) are just going to slowly accept it? This public outrage/media campaigning can't continue like this for ever, surely? And kids aren't gonna stop carrying knives either, are they?

New laws and Boris endorsed on-the-spot searches are only going to increase hostility between kids and the police, and correct me if I'm wrong, but if the tabloids are telling everyone how every kid in London is carrying a knife, then surely every one who isn't is going to be like "shit, better get myself tooled up too just in case"
