I'm on a bit of an enforced comic binge at the moment. A lesson I apparently never learnt is to never ever say "I will never read anything about a man in tights who has super powers".

So now I'm reading comics. One of which is The Boys.

The Boys is great because it has an angry cockney as the main character who says things like "I'll just take a shufti at your files" and is shagging the director of the CIA. And it also has Simon Pegg, in what must surely be the first example of an actual person featuring as a character in a comic.

Anyway, it's about these people who go around keeping an eye on superheroes and stopping them when they get a bit too super. It's funny and brutal and I recommend it.
