I may have mentioned this before, but just outside Tower Hill tube station in East London, a path runs past the Tower of London. On this path stands the Square Man. Every time I walk down this path, he's always there, rain or shine, night and day. He just stands there, not saying anything, maybe smiling at you as you walk past - and he has this little square. Kinda like a tray. But not really big enough to hold anything useful. And he just holds it out. Not for begging or anything - and there's never any money in it anyway - but just holding it.

I really want to know what his story is...
