'mystery shoppers'

countzero [Edit] [Delete] 17:27, 12 July '08

why are memos sent basically saying "there will be a number of disabled mystery shoppers coming in the next week..so..err..mind yourselves".

why?

If we do are jobs well there shouldn;t be a problem.

Now after all warnings I'm looking for hte slight hobble in every person coming up to my desk.

A Blind gentleman came enquiring about our services and I froze....fearing I'd say the wrong thing.

I've dealt with disabled people countless times in my job, and I hope I was professionaland helpful.

Sending messages like this to staff just puts you o nthe spot and I think it defeats hte purpose of a mystery shopper...It's meant to expose problems, not an opportunity try and hide them by making staff nervous...
