Someone started a thread last night, but what with everyone's stupidity (mine included) this morning, it will be well lost.

How can I get Norton completely uninstalled from my laptop and another anti-virus (AVG?) installed without them fighting with each other, etc ?

Norton came pre-installed so system restore or whatever doesn't get rid of it. It slows it right down, and it was crap enough in the first place! Now it's started freezing and crashing in IE.
