Music Social More…

The British and their obsession with class.

whiterussian [Edit] [Delete] 11:20, 31 July '08

Or is it possibly a specifically English thing? Anyway, someone once said that "the English [sense of?] identity is intimately bound up with class", so is that it, that you don't have better ways of defining yourself or those around you? In the collective sense of "self" obviously.

What exactly is the dealio here? We're not in the dark ages anymore. Why are you so concerned about social classes?

And this place is extreme, I mean how many "oh I'm so middle class"-posts do we get in one day? A lot, that's how many.

Please explain yourselves to an ingorant foreigner.

Thank you.
