This situation just got me thinking, there are various sorts of people in the world. Those who go out and seek difficult situations, and those who are happier with what they know and what they trust to be "normal".

Some thrill-seekers, some who like a bit of a thrill, and others who just like purely uncomplicated lives - sometimes without any thrills at all.

Is there something in our psyche that conditions us this way? Is it genetic?
