Woo! Britain won another medal - Scotland's David Florence got a silver for us in the C1 Canoeing event...they have K1 Kayaking too, so, presumably, do we get C2 and K2 and so on later on in the Olympics?

Togo also won it's first Olympic medal - go Togo! In the K1 event. I think the difference is that canoers have a single paddle, and kayakers have a double-ended paddle, amiright?

Show jumping is apparently a medal prospect later on, as the last day of the three-day eventing. Didn't we win a stupid number of medals at it last time? Well, it's not likely that we'll win as much this year, but I think we're third in the team event and our best rider is fifth in the individual going into the last day.

Meanwhile, I just watched this lady lose in the archery :(
