Hot or cold Bath for aches and pains?

ReclaimYourBrain [Edit] [Delete] 17:55, 15 August '08

Hello, I guess this is aimed at the more sporty types of DiS.

I don't play a whole lot of weekend football these days (despite being signed to both a Saturday and Sunday team) but I play a lot of six-a-side on Weds nights. About two weeks ago I played a full ninety minutes in an exhibition match, my first game at right back in a while, now I've noticed my right hamstring getting a bit sore and tight every time I play on Weds evenings.

My question is, those who takes baths after a joyous sporting affair, do you take a hot or a cold bath, and which do you think is the best option to regain fully working muscles?

I shall be attending a gathering of people this eve with my friends and I feel like my right leg is going to let me down. I also have lots of Biofreeze on hand just incase.
