OK, because at first I thought I was, but now I'm not so sure.
My boyfriend is an artist, he exhibits and makes things etc, and really wants to pursue that. He is good, unusual style and certainly not to everyones liking, but good.
However, he spends every waking moment pursuing it, setting up shows etc, but has only sold 4 pieces in 2.5 years. This doesn't even cover the costs of setting up the shows etc. He has a job which pays an adequate amount to survive on (survive being the operative word) and he views that the art will "take off soon" and that's why he doesn't get a really decent job. He's over 30 and I'm 25. I think I have made a bad decision...am I horrible for not believing the art will pay off? :(
