have you ever complained to a broadcaster?

nice_squirrel [Edit] [Delete] 14:05, 21 August '08

or wanted to? What about? Did you feel like a Daily Mail reading Mary Whitehouse clone? Or that you'd turned into your mum?

I've never been much bothered by things before, but I got woken up with XFM yesterday (I know, I know, but I sleep through everything else!) to them singing a 'comedy' song about rape. It was pretty offensive, and not funny or satirical at all, and it just seemed weirdly out of context. It was pre-recorded as well, not just spontaneous.

Anyway, I didn't complain because I'm an apathetic loser and I felt a bit weird about it, I thought a lot of other people would though. And they obviously did, because they issued an official apology at the same time on air this morning.

Would you complain about stuff you found offensive/inaccurate/annoyed you in some way? Or is it the first step to becoming a middle aged complainy person?
