i listened to a phone in on LBC with James Whale the other night. what a prize tosser. he said that the BBC should be abolished along with the liscence fee as it is a tax on TV watchers regardless of whether they watch the BBC or not. A fair point, but... he went on to say it should be replaced with a license fee for dog owners, like the two issues were in any way related!

Anyone who phoned in trying to argue in favour of the BBC he just ranted over them about how dog owners let their pets shit on the streets and how outrageous it was! I was so infuriated I felt like smashing my radio into a gazillion little pieces.
