I'm taking a well earned break and going off on holiday for the next two and a bit weeks. Going to be travelling around Europe by train; first stop is Lille in northern France, followed by Berlin, then on to Krakow in Poland, followed by Budapest in Hungary and then finally to Bratislava in the Slovak Republic. Unfortunately I'm not travelling back by train as I can't afford to buy a longer inter rail pass really, so I'm flying back to EMA with my least favourite airline in the world, Ryanair (only because the flight was ludicrously cheap). Can't wait to set off tomorrow, but right now I'm in the usual last minute rush packing everything.

Anyone got any recommendations about things to see and do in any of these places that don't involve spending much money?
