The thing that makes wolverines so dangerous besides the teeth and claws it that they will attack anything without a second thought. They might lose but they are so freakishly tenatious a bear/wolf will just leave rather than risk getting injured. The wolverines dont seem to have this run and live to fight another day attitude. I have seen them in action up close and you really dont want to come in between a wolverine and its food/home/babies.

mx4406, If a bear rolled over onto its back and let the wolverine attack it, the wolverine would still have trouble killing it.. 9/10 times the wolverine "Wins" against a bear but i doubt a bear has EVER been killed by a wolverine. Bears are smart peaceful but EXTREMELY Dangerous and powerful, but would rather run from a little wolverine then even bother getting all cut up a bloody over something that the bear doesn't care for, it just wants to go eat some berries
