Based on the DiS 'ad' and also some of my own thoughts: how many of you lot have done unpaid intern work? If you have, for how long, and what was covered? Did it lead to anything?

Genuinely interested to see if there is a trend for companies keeping interns on, or if that work leads to other openings...

I've not done unpaid work outside of uni, where a placement was part of the course (and I was covered financially by my student loan for the period).
