"Hey, it's *****, *****' friend from fri. He sent me your number? X"

I asked this guy who I know to give this girl my number becuase I failed to remember to ask her myself, which was annoying because I was drunk enough to have the courage to do so.

This is the first text she has sent me and I'm not really sure how to respond. I could just be all like "Hi, how are you, did you have a good night?" etc. but this is lame right? She could be just texting me out of politeness anyway, although in my experience girls tend not to give away their numbers (because obviously I didn't know it before she text me) unless they want someone to have it.

I know I'm making far too much of this, god I hate myself sometimes.
