One of my mates from school died last night. His motorbike crashed into an oncoming car.

Just last year a girl I went to school with got murdered too.

How horrible.

You go on his Facebook, and its like 'updated yesterday', just before he went out and died.

I hate news reports that describe every dead kid as 'fun loving, loved animals, was popular' etc., but this boy was really great. He transcended every sort of social group and got on really well with everyone, be they a library-dweller, a footballchav, goths, whatever.

What a shame.
