Have you ever met your hero? If so, was it a good experience? Or is the old cliche true of never meet them?

I have met my footballing hero (Tony Adams), when I was a young lad. I can only remember being very excited when I had a photo taken with him and got an autograph.

I met my (then) musical hero Noel Gallagher in 2002. He was a twat, which was rather heartbreaking, if not unsuprising.

nd next month, I get to meet my joint wrestling hero, Ric Flair (I've already met the other, Bret Hart, and it was AMAZING). God knows what I am going to say to him.
