a quick google reveals nothing but horror stories - massive crime rate, many random murders daily, 1 in 2 tourists mugged. ordinarily I'd think, OK, that's bound to happen, but be careful and it'll be fine, but I'm a crime magnet - I've had more guns pointed at me in London than I care to mention - and look every inch the girly indie boy.
