I have to go out tonight for a friend's birthday.

The cold that has been threatening me for days has decided to make a proper appearance today and I feel a bit shit.

But I have to and really want to go out tonight (and tomorrow and Sunday).

Please can you all give me your best recommendations to ward off the really shitty parts of a cold so I can go out and enjoy myself without doing the sensible thing of wrapping up warm in bed and drinking lots of water.
