I've been to one wedding this year. The father of the bride was a Reverend (not necessarily a posh profession I suppose but the family were incredibly posh nonetheless)

I've got another wedding coming where I've found out from the address for the RSVP that the mother of the Bride is a Lady (in the formally-titled sense) and in fact has a full title that implies she owns part of Gloucestershire.

And the one other person I know currently engaged is so posh she disparagingly described the groom's family as "nouveau riche" (in contrast to her own family which has had hereditary money for years).

I'm a comprehensive-educated boy and I swear I don't mix in especially wealthy circles - most of my friends earn little more than I do and, from what I've read, I earn below the average London wage.

So is this coincidence, do only posh people get married, or are all women in London insanely posh and just pretending they aren't until you propose to them?
