temping and money

brusma [Edit] [Delete] 22:18, 25 September '08

yo DiS, i require the use of your collective wisdom

basically, i'm looking for work at the moment. been applying for full-time jobs but the time's come in my money situation where i need some temp work to tide me over. thing is, i've not really got any knowledge of temping wages in London, so i don't really know how much i should be expecting.

i'm trying to get into public sector work, with a masters in a subject (planning) which kinda relates to some public sector work, especially the areas i'd like to get temp work (and eventually a job) in. i've got about a year's office experience, albeit working in medial-type accounts departments.

my question is, how much per hour should i be looking to get?
