In the student union it has been proposed to change the toilets from male and female to urinals and non urinals in order to be more inclusive of trans students. However, it seems to me that in order to show an awareness of a small group they're actually neglecting others' views. Some of my male friends are revelling in the fact that they'll now get to use the 'ladies' when nature calls. They may be fine with this, but I'm not exactly comfortable with guys using them, a view shared by quite a few others.
So, do you think this is going too far in terms of PC? Anyone have any tales of extreme political correctness?
