I saw a charming piece of inpromptu street theatre the other evening at 8.30 when a Polish man decided to take it upon himself to attack another man with the bar stool outside a pub, as a crowd of people looked on - similar to those wonderful displays you see in Covent Garden - but with the Pied Piper effect of half the pub the 'action' began in had spilled out into the road I happened to be driving down. Lord know how hard he must have eventually hit his co-star with said chair but it depressed me horribly to think about what misunderstanding had brought this about - the other chap was a black gentleman and I hope it wasn't a racist attack though I have read that there's reams of 'misunderstandings' between EU types and people with a 'different colour skin' - why can't people just get on?

I don't know what my point is other than to probably make out the Poles are terrible beer monsters 'after a few'.
