Spoilers, okay? SPOILERS!

Not that it matters much, I'd imagine.

So, we gave up on the Shield after three episodes because it was too soon after the Wire, but now the mourning is over we dipped back in and watched the rest of the season in a couple of sittings.

It's pretty amazing now and I take back my initial negative feelings. I like Dutch and I like Vic now.

I also really loved the use of land rights corruption for the finalé. A great way to hark back to the plots of 40s LA noirs. I'm looking forward to the next few Seasons, though not to trawling the web for an un-cut, 90minute widescreen Season 6 finalé. :(
