my laptop cursor mover pad thing doesn't work with out anything other than my finger? I've tried to move the cursor with the following; a rubber, a pencil, a lypsyl (original) a biro lid and a 5p coin.

Whilst writing this post i've just tried to do it with my tongue and that worked, although the pad tasted of lypsyl. It doesn't work when I try it with my nose. I've considered trying to do it with my mickey but i don't want to give my computer a virus. Can someone please explain this hi-tech jiggery pokery please?
