without mentioning the specifics of this, there's been something i've been working on that's gonna come to fruition next wednesday. ok, so it's that film night i've been banging on about for ages.

the thing is, even before it's happened, this has attracted attention from a few not-particularly-welcome parties (who i'll refer to from here on as 'The Man') who could potentially give me money if various associations and concessions and future developments were to be made. aside from the fact that this goes totally against the spirit of an independent, underground film night, and that, after seeing the event, they'll probably run a mile (some of the content is less than wholesome, other parts really abstract), and that my gut instinct is to tell them where to stick it, i do really need some money, my financial situation is dire.
