I'm off to Berlin for a long weekend on a couple of weeks, thanks to some £20 ryan air flights. I've been before for a couple of days and did most of the sightseeing, so this time I want to concentrate on nice walks, eating lots of sausages, drinking lots of beer etc.

Anyone have any tips for where to go? I would particularly like to find a good, cheap, Germany restaurant where I can feast on hunks of meat and saurkraut and stuff. Also cool bars/ pubs and biergartens/ cheap shopping places would be nice.

I know there are even some DISers who live in Berlin, so I'm sure you'll be able to help me out.
