Anyone ever read the mini-novella which is 'Bartleby - the Scrivener' by Herman Melville? Probably the most bleakest and deadended short stories you will ever read - after reading this there will never be a day when you think "oh Mom your're just jealous we're the BEASTIE BOYS" or some such. Great read but a bit much for such tremulous hearts like mine, depending upon the weather
