A bit rubbish?

I just finished the fourth issue of the comic, and have never seen the movie. It doesn't really grip me at all, dialogue and plot-wise, the artwork doesn't sell me on the story and I can't help but feel V is a spectacularly boring character. I almost want the fascist police state to catch him.

I'll keep going to the end though. Does it get better or should I lower my expectations for Alan Moore?
