I'm visiting out at my mom's this weekend, and she has been like, looking after me, and in much better form than she ever did when I was a minor (except when I was super young, naturally). I'm kind of ill, and she's had echinacea and tea set out for me, as well as a whole breakfast spread laid out when I got up this morning. She's also already made chicken soup for later, and is now in the process of making apple pie (she makes the best apple pie ever, no exaggeration). It's kind of weird, though pleasant. Do your parents treat you differently now when you go home to visit?

(Also, is there a simple way to hook up your laptop to a stereo without a tape converter?)
